Support Engineer

Marionete is seeking the talents of a seasoned professional with deep experience in Development, Infrastructure Engineering and Technical Solutions architecture.

Our project team are currently starting a greenfield innovation programme of work for one of the world’s largest banking institutions. The team will be focused upon delivering mission-critical solutions for this tier-one financial institution, we now are looking to bolster our existing team with the expertise of an experienced support engineers.



·     Should have excellent understanding of MSBI Architecture.

·     Should have excellent understanding of MS SQL Server Architecture.

·     Prior experience in end to end BI Implementation projects.

·     Willingness to work in Weekend night shifts. 

·     Production Support of Applications in MSBI (SSIS and SSRS)

·     Provide work-around solutions where possible to restore the service. 

·     Recommend solutions to application teams if code change is required. 

·     Knowledge of ticketing tools such as Service Now. 

·     Liaise with customers and manage customers expectations on incidents.

·     Define, document and implement processes and procedures for supporting production environment.

·     Work with developers to implement the change & document it.

·     Good understanding of ITIL concepts. 

·     Experience working with Kafka

·     Incident, change and pipeline management background

·     Background working with Helm, Grafana and Kubernetes environments

·     Groovy scripting experience
