The Opportunity
This is a very exciting time for Women’s cricket in England, with the recent ECB evolution of the domestic game. Yorkshire County Cricket Club are passionate about pushing our Women’s team the top of the sport, and we are delighted to offer the chance for a skilled practitioner to start on our journey in Tier 2 for the 2025 season and developing the programme towards Tier 1 inclusion in 2026.
In this exciting and versatile role, reporting to the Head of Science and Medicine, the successful candidate will provide medical support services to Yorkshire County Cricket Club’s Women’s XI, Academy and Talent Pathway.
This role will be pivotal in providing the highest standard of physiotherapy provision to our women’s and girl’s players with the aim to maximise player availability, health and athletic performance. This role will require regular national and occasional international travel with the Women's XI, Academy and Talent Pathway to provide dedicated, professional physiotherapy support for training and matches all year around. The role will require a committed individual with a passion for athletic performance and sports physiotherapy, with the adaptability to work across Yorkshire’s playing staff from young, aspiring cricketers to senior internationals.
