YOUR ROLE IN THE COMPANY

We are searching for an experienced Accountant with a high sense of responsibility and great organizational skills. 


As an Accountant, you will be in charge of the whole book-keeping and accounting process, including implementing the necessary processes in the company and working closely with Finance and HR departments as well as managers from other teams.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implementing and maintaining the necessary book-keeping processes and procedures in the company
  • Maintaining an accurate record of financial transactions
  • Completing tax and personnel forms in accordance with the regulations
  • Accounting of project income and expenses, analyzing the performance indicators
  • Processing of book-keeping documents in accordance with LR law and regulations
  • Calculating and making salary payments
  • Updating and maintaining general ledger
  • Preparing the Annual report and corporate income tax
  • Entering data, maintaining records, and creating reports and financial statements
  • Invoicing to clients, debitor accountancy 
  • Processing accounts receivable/payable

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years proven work experience as a Book-keeper, Accountant, or similar
  • Excellent knowledge of LR law regarding your job duties, keeping up with the latest novelties
  • Excellent Latvian and English language skills
  • Successful experience in implementing procedures and processes related to book-keeping, incl. presenting them to employees
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel and Google Drive files
  • Bachelor degree or 1st/2nd level education in Book-keeping, Accounting, Finances, or similar
  • Great organization skills, precision, and high sense of responsibility
  • Ability to adjust to changing business circumstances
  • Friendly and positive team player attitude

  • Knowledge of internet marketing
