Director, Markets and Policies

Ecoplexus Inc. The Director, Markets and Policies will drive policy strategies that support utility scale solar projects.  You will work closely with local government officials and industry stakeholders.  This role will be responsible for ensuring that the company has full insight into the market rules and policies to minimize the risk.  This role will serve as the lead person between the Ecoplexus industry association and stakeholder groups that may interact with state and local officials.  

• Understand policy initiatives that are impacting the Renewables Industry
• Track and communicate policy shaping multi-technology energy parks, including data centers, natural and industrial gases, hydrogen, and carbon capture and storage.
• Partner with Ecoplexus teams to translate new government policies and regulatory developments
• Enable project advancement and execution by identifying policy risks that could impact projects
• Establishing relationships with utilities and other major offtakers

• 8+ years of experience in energy policies or government affairs within the US renewables sector
• Ability to communicate complex policies and regulatory changes clearly to Senior management
• Extensive utility and offtaker relationships
• Demonstrated knowledge and expertise related to electricity markets, utility tariffs, regulatory policies, and competitive market knowledge
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional organizational skills; proven ability to work on multiple projects
• Understanding of and ability to utilize AI platforms to track policy and share information internally
