Background

We are looking to recruit an experienced Area Sales Manager with strong sales skills and an excellent business development record.


You will ideally already be selling into the Social Housing sector and experienced in managing a region. You will be able to provide evidence of maintaining and developing Key client relationships with Housing Associations, Local Authorities, ALMO’s and partnering contracts.


Knowledge of Residential Ventilation, BPEC or Approved Document F would be preferred, but is not essential. Knowledge of the social housing heating or electrical market would be an advantage.


You will be IT literate [Microsoft] and understand the need and use of CRM software (training will be provided).


Third party sales training and an example of personal development is desired.


A clean current driving licence is essential.

What you'll do

  • Prospecting new accounts, using their own initiative, using the company lead generation services and efficiently network accounts to create credible opportunities, specifications and orders
  • To maximise growth and profitability from existing accounts by using effective key account management techniques, client management skills and offering an exceptional level of service and support
  • To meet KPI’s and objectives as defined in the yearly appraisal review. i.e. call rates, opportunity generation, specifications, client targets etc…
  • To create and deliver informative, engaging and credible sales presentations, including CPD’s and product specific demonstrations
  • To keep updated with and effectively communicate the relevant regulations and documents relating to the New Build Residential Ventilation Sector, e.g. BPEC, building regs, etc….
  • To work cooperatively with colleagues, exchange information and work together to maximise all sales opportunities, update CRM and deliver key market analysis reports
  • To consider, identify and report any opportunity to improve product or service.
  • Provide regular reports and feedback to a professional standard, to analyse market trends and competitors activities.
  • Positively contribute to all team meetings, prepare and present area reviews.
  • Provide support for, and attend exhibitions and conferences
  • Whilst on company business act professionally, be positive, constructive, proactive and actively promote Titon Ventilation at all times
