Description

EACH Counselling and Support is a leading charity based in NW London providing a range of specialist services to individuals and families affected by mental health, domestic violence and alcohol and substance misuse issues.


We are looking to expand our Senior Management Team so that we can build upon our work to make a difference in people’s lives to help them recover from the impact of mental health, trauma and domestic abuse.


We are recruiting the following: Head of Counselling and Practice to join our Senior Management Team to ensure that our services are effective, of high quality and safe. The role requires you to support and lead the development of client practice, provide clinical oversight and input to our work, and hold a small case load. Based at our Ealing centre, you will work across other sites as required.

Salary, Rewards and Benefits

Salary: £45,864 - £52,959 Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Duration: Permanent, subject to performance and continuous funding

Location: Ealing with requirement to work from any of EACH’s locations

Key Duties

  • A recognised counselling qualification and extensive counselling/psychotherapy experience within a relevant field – Substance Misuse, Mental Health, Trauma or Domestic Abuse and Violence
  • Understanding of various interventions to support long-term recovery for vulnerable clients
  • Understanding of needs of volunteer/trainee counsellors and ex-service users
  • Ability to provide leadership and direction You will also need to be qualified to provide clinical supervision.
