Pathway Coach

This role is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and skilled cricket coach to join our highly successful and forward-thinking Pathways Team at The Yorkshire County Cricket Club.

Working alongside the rest of the team, you will assist with delivering Regional and County Age Group programmes, regularly monitor the performance of players and help with the Regional and County Age Group coaching across the winter months.

Depending on your experience and the area you wish to work, we have opportunities in our Early Engagement Programme (U10s-U12s), Regional Cricket Programme (U13-U15) and/or our County Age Group programme (U13-U16). Applicants can express an interest in working in any one of these specifically, or for opportunities to work across all three.

What these roles will include:

• Working closely with those involved in the County Age Group and Regional programmes to deliver high quality coaching sessions throughout the winter
• Ensure coaching aligns with the goals and aims of the winter programme and promotes long-term development throughout the age groups
• Provide detailed and knowledgeable insights through various coaching methods to aid the development of players

We are looking for people who meet the below essential criteria:

• Have obtained at minimum Level 2 ECB coaching qualification
• Previous experience of delivering high quality coaching
• Strong communication and verbal skills and a natural ability to motivate and influence a diverse range of people including groups and individuals
• An understanding and experience of delivering coaching within an equity, diversity and inclusion framework.
• An understanding of safeguarding and health & safety relevant to the needs of the role
