Trainee Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a Trainee Maintenance Technician for our busy Maintenance team based in Haverhill. This role is a hands-on role that will require a large amount of learning in order to build knowledge and gain experience on maintenance issues. The ideal candidate will be keen to jump into a very busy workload with lots of learning opportunities and accurately manage their own workload. The purpose of this role is to learn to maintain and service a variety of industrial machinery and Plant.


  •  Working alongside highly trained and experienced engineers and learning.
  • Successful completion of a variety of challenging courses, including but not limited to: - Electrical systems Hydraulic systems, Pneumatic systems, and Fault diagnosis.
  • General maintenance tasks, including but not limited to– snow clearing, clearing toilet blockages, litter picking and more.
  • Learn how to use CMMS system and manage your own job lists efficiently and in a timely manner.
  • Use of various power and hand tools – training will be provided.
  • Communication between departments in order to ascertain maintenance needs and ensure any request is fulfilled accurately.
  • Driving jobs and being able to drive themselves to the relevant locations for courses.
  • When trained, providing maintenance work on various machines including but not limited to Injection Mould Machines, Power Presses and Powder Coating plant.
