WHAT WILL YOU DO

As a Senior Lawyer at SmartLynx Airlines, you will be responsible for a wide range of legal tasks critical to our operations. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring our compliance with aviation regulations and providing legal guidance to various departments. Here's what you can expect in this role:


Legal Document Preparation and Review: Prepare and review all company legal documents, with a focus on commercial agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Legal Consulting: Provide legal consultation to all company departments, offering expert advice on legal matters related to aviation, contracts, regulatory compliance, and more.

Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research on various topics, including legal concepts, judicial opinions, statutes, and regulations, to provide informed guidance to the organization.

Legal Writing: Draft legal documents, including contracts, answers, claims, warnings, requests, and other necessary documents.

Client On-boarding (KYC) and GDPR: Manage the client on-boarding process, including Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures, and ensure compliance with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requirements.

Maintaining Records: Maintain accurate files, notes, and reports related to legal matters, ensuring the organization's legal documentation is up-to-date and organized.





LET'S TALK ABOUT YOU

  • Higher education degree in law;
  • At least two years of experience in a similar legal position, preferably with exposure to aviation or related industries;
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills for working with clients, colleagues, and other departments;
  • Excellent organizational abilities and time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively;
  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet tools, presentation software, and other relevant technologies;
  • Good research skills and techniques to gather and analyze legal information effectively;
  • Knowledge of various legal contracts, documentation, processes, and policies, especially in the aviation sector;
  • Analytical ability, logical reasoning, and sound judgment to make informed legal decisions;
  • Knowledge of legal specialties, especially those relevant to aviation law;
  • A commitment to constant improvement and a willingness to adapt to changing legal requirements.
