Your role

To lead the HR function for the business, the HR Manager will take ownership of all People matters across the company. They are the ‘go-to’ person for all employee related issues. The broad areas include: learning and development, recruitment, employee engagement, salary and benefits, professional growth, culture, policies and procedures, communication and performance management.

How will you spend your time?

  • Support the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues, to provide for a working environment that listens to its staff and provides opportunities for growth 
  • Oversee the recruitment, selection and onboarding process
  • Manage the appraisal system and support employees on how to have valuable appraisal meetings
  • Ensure that the company’s policies and procedures comply with employment regulations and ISO accreditations, and communicating changes effectively to staff  
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement and motivation of staff 
  • Support the culture of Condatis to provide an amazing employee experience 
  • Lead and support the HR Assistant as they further their career in HR
  • Learning! We give you a day off each month to learn and study!


Does this sound like you?

You are CIPD qualified and have previous experience in an HR role 

You have exceptional attention to detail and communicate easily and confidently across an organisation

You are a really good listener that’s able to understand the needs of the business and the needs of the employees

You have an interest in working for a tech company within a growing Finance & HR department

 

You have the right to work in the UK. IAM is our speciality and our successful team members will be required to pass BPSS and UKSV SC screening, arranged during the induction period.



You are willing to learn or develop:


  • Being the most senior HR professional in the organisation and able to provide guidance and suggestions
  • We are keen supports of learning and education. If you wanted to study for any HR specialisms or within other areas – we would be keen to discuss support options for you to do this!

We have staff that are based throughout the UK. For this role, we’re looking for a hybrid working environment where you’re based comfortably at home (with £150 towards your home office for desk/chair) and a desk at the Edinburgh office. We envisage this role being in the office up to 2 days per week. We also run monthly Town halls and quarterly we invite everyone to get together in the office! You will be using our equipment which we will ship out to you and if an extra screen (or 2!) would come in handy then let us know.
