Marionete is seeking a technical hands-on engineer who is keen to progress and with excellent English and client communication skills.

The role will sit within our academy at Marionete where you will have the opportunity to work with cutting edge technologies whilst being mentored by a range of advanced engineers across the business.

You will need to have:



• Computer Science or equivalent academic background
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• The drive to be constantly learning, open to change and continuously improve
• Knowledge of a typed programming language (one or more of Java, Scala, C/C++/C#, Python, Ruby, TypeScript) for developers
• Knowledge of data structures and algorithms
• Basic GNU/Linux understanding
• Fluent in English, written and spoken

Additional requirements:

• Knowledge of Software Engineering best practices
• Test-Driven Development
• Code Documentation
• Knowledge of public cloud, containers, CI/CD, DevOps, SRE
• Agile understanding and their ceremonies
• Knowledge of data networks and troubleshooting

Location: Our academy is based from our Lisbon office so it is key you are within a commutable distance to the office in the center.
