Founded in 2021 by the management team behind mySugr, 9am.health is available directly to consumers through a low-cost monthly subscription that connects people with a care team of licensed providers, pharmacists, and nutritionists. About The Role

As our Marketing Copywriter, you will proactively support the marketing and product teams to find the right words for each opportunity to speak with our audience. You will work with an international team of knowledgeable marketeers and healthcare experts in Austria and California. 

Key Role & Responsibilities

  • Create compelling copy to activate, convert, and engage with people who live with prediabetes and diabetes
  • Write website copy, headlines, emails, SMS, blog posts, campaign copy, and wherever words are needed
  • Turn creative direction and copy points from creative briefs into effective concepts and language
  • Ensure our tone and language are consistent across our various brand touchpoints while bringing our new brand strategy to life
  • Ensure content is optimized for search engines (SEO) and contains strategic keyword placement
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting competing deadlines
  • You can ebb with the shifts of a start-up and remain calm under pressure


Requirements

  • at least 2 years of experience in an agency or direct-to-consumer company
  • Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Marketing, or Related Subjects
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively 
  • You take initiative and proactively come to the table with new ideas to push forward the work

Hybrid working model

We offer a flexible working model. Our team members live across the country and some of them work from home, while others work in the office (Encinitas, CA). We do believe that creating a company culture requires some in-person time.
