IMMEDIATE MANAGER       Head EV Acquisitions


During the last 12 months, EV power has established itself as the UK’s largest open network of ultra rapid charge points, with over 40 hubs developed in 2021 and a further 60 to be completed by the end of 2022. With targets to grow the pipeline significantly we are now looking for an Acquisitions Manager to join our team. This is a national role to actively drive forward the EV development pipeline.


As Acquisitions Manager you would be responsible for sourcing development opportunities, negotiating legal agreements, progressing sites through planning and have an overarching responsibility for site delivery from inception to completion.



You must be an individual who is eager to work in a fast past and growing business, the ability to adapt and be results driven.

You should have a proven track record in acquisitions and be effective at managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Main Responsibilities

  •  Site finding and utilising contacts to bring forward new opportunities.
  • Negotiate terms and contracts with vendors or tenants.
  • Undertake site due diligence and development appraisal.
  • Overarching development management responsibility of sites from inception to delivery
  • Manage fees and scheme budgets
  • Co-ordinating all key consultants including solicitors, architects, planners and liaising with internal stakeholders

Work Context

The role will be field based with occasional attendance at MFG’s Head Office in St. Albans required.

Qualifications and Skills Required

  • MRICS qualified preferred and minimum 2 years’ acquisitions/agency experience
  • Extremely organized and able to mange a high volume of work
  • Proven track record in site finding and delivering projects
  • A detailed understanding of the legal process involved with acquisitions and lettings
  • Ability to work as part of a wider team but also be individually proactive
  • Full clean driving licence
