Technical Documentation Expert (all genders welcome)

• Documenting our software solutions for various internal services, including Operations, Marketing, and Support teams, to ensure that they have the information needed to work effectively.

• Capturing & documenting technical decisions made by our development teams, creating a transparent record of why and how certain choices were made.

• Serving as the governance lead for internal documentation, establishing & maintaining best practices to ensure consistency and quality across all documentation.

• Structuring & maintaining our Confluence spaces, ensuring that all information is well-organized, up-to-date, and easily navigable.

• Collaborating with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather the necessary information and transform complex technical details into user-friendly documentation.

• You have a strong background in technical writing, preferably within a software or technology environment.

• Demonstrated excellent writing & communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information in a clear, concise, and engaging manner.

• 3+ to 7 years of professional experience in hands-on technical writing.

• You are experienced in documenting software systems, APIs, and technical processes, and are comfortable working closely with development teams to extract the necessary details.

• You have a deep understanding of Confluence or similar documentation management tools & are skilled at organizing large amounts of information in a structured and accessible way.

• You have a strong attenttion to dettaill and are passionate about maintaining high standards in documentation quality.

• Fluency in English is mandatory (German is an advantage)

• You are proactive, self-motivated, and enjoy working in a collaborative environment where you can drive improvements in documentation practices.

Competitive annual base salary range starting from €62.000,- up to €70.000,- adjustable to your level of experiences

Please note: this is a Vienna based role. Working permit for Austria is required in advance. This is not a remote job.
