Our dedicated clinical team in Glasgow are seeking to appoint a Clinical Trial Assistant (Healthcare). This site will be very busy at times, so we’re looking for candidates that are organised, can prioritise and have a keen eye for the details.


The Clinical Trial Assistant duties are varied so this position gives valuable experience in many aspects of clinical research. If successful, you will be joining a friendly, supportive and welcoming team that work hard and enjoy tackling new challenges together. 


The ideal candidate will have experience in a healthcare providing assistance and support in either the NHS or care/nursing homes.


The focus of this role is to:

  • To prioritise patient safety by ensuring adherence to ICH-GCP
  • To carry out clinical trial procedures in accordance with ICH-GCP

Requirements

  • Experience in healthcare and clinical procedures including vital signs and ECT measurements along with other study specific procedures (full training will be given to the right candidate) 
  • Venipuncture proficient (full training will be given to the right candidate)

PHYSICAL, WORK ENVIRONMENT, TRAVEL DEMANDS:

  • Potentially long periods standing.
  • Dealing with bodily fluids.
  • Long periods looking at a computer screen.
  • Meeting deadlines and working within strict timelines.
  • Ability to travel between sites if required.
  • Ability to travel to national/international meetings.
