Salary: £35,880.00 per annum


Purpose of the role

The Property Compliance Officer is responsible for assessing and reviewing the current property portfolio, and potential new properties, to ensure the company complies with all relevant legislation.

 

Reporting to the Property Compliance Manager and supporting the whole team, the Property Compliance Officer promotes fire safety with our Service Users and ensures that fire risk management systems are in place in order to meet the statutory obligations in this regard, from all relevant agencies / stakeholders. 


Duties and Responsibilities

Procedures

  • Provide advice on the application and interpretation of fire safety legislation
  • Provide advice and support to Clearsprings Ready Homes (CRH) on fire safety issues
  • Deliver risk assessment/risk control processes required by the statutory legislation
  • Develop, implement and monitor appropriate fire safety policies and plans including incident investigation, reporting and analysis
  • To consider other compliance issues that relate to the CRH property portfolio during the undertaking of the role’s basic duties in relation to the Group’s various ISO accreditations

 

 Connect and Collaborate

  • Liaise and communicate with line management to ensure an effective, compliant operation and service delivery.
  • Collaborate with others, attending meetings as required
  • Supporting team members and provide on-the-job training
  • Provide cover for other staff as agreed by line manager

  • Keep up to date with all written and verbal communications (i.e. emails/messages/calls)
  • Ensure all records are maintained and kept up to date according to company policies and procedures

  • Undertake all core learning and development programmes as required
  • Undertake relevant learning according to agreed Personal Development Plan
  • Attend monthly performance review meeting with the Property Compliance Manager
  • Meeting your own specific Key Performance Objectives.
