SHORT DESCRIPTION

Location: Riga (Latvia) or Barcelona (Spain) with full relocation support.


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Head of Human Resources to oversee all HR functions and drive our people strategy.

The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in human resources management within the IT sector, a deep understanding of labor laws (EU/International), and a passion for nurturing a positive workplace environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Talent Acquisition: Lead the charge to attract, select, and retain amazing talent, especially in the IT and Sportsbook fields.
  • Team Management: Manage and mentor a team of 6-8 employees, including recruiters, office managers, HR managers, and care specialists.
  • Employee Relations: Foster a positive working environment and address employee grievances effectively.
  • Performance Management: Oversee performance appraisal systems, provide feedback, and recommend development plans.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and oversee the development of career progression programs.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Oversee competitive benefits programs to attract and retain employees.
  • HR Metrics: Utilize HR metrics to analyze trends and develop solutions, programs, and policies.
  • IT Environment Understanding: Understand that this is an IT company and
  • effectively manage and engage with IT specialists and teams.
  • HR brand and reputation.
  • Overall team health and motivation.
  • Participation in the industry events, exhibitions and summits all over the globe.

  • Employees’ relocation to one of our EU offices.
  • Internal educational program.
  • Back to office” initiative – enforcement of 2 mandatory days in office.
  • Locations + elaboration of benefit allocation to remote & office employees.
  • Internal mentorship program.



QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources management, with a proven track record in a leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to navigate and manage complex situations with a high degree of
  • professionalism.
  • Experience with HR software and systems.
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on problem-solving.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional proficiency in English and Russian, both written and verbal. Spanish as a big plus.
