The GOOD Agency are looking for an experience fundraising copywriter. The core purpose of this role is create and craft emotive and effective fundraising campaigns.
Fundraising creative work
- Create ideas, messaging and full copy across all media channels for client work
- Ensure the work stirs the soul in meeting the creative brief
- Proofread copy thoroughly
- Present concepts and ideas confidently and persuasively
- Act as a problem-solver and provide proactive recommendations for clients
- Make amendments, revise or redevelop ideas to incorporate client feedback
- Understand and write variable copy tailored to different audience groups
- Keep up to date with innovations and be part of the agency’s knowledge base on the latest published thinking on copy, trends and case studies
Business development
- Keep up to date and be familiar with our clients’ products and services, their target audience and competitor activity
- Proactively seek additional business opportunities and revenue streams with additional and potential clients
- Be a recognisable figure to clients who inspires confidence and quality
Communication
- Strong writing, listening, and verbal communication skills
- Maintain workplace professionalism at all times
- Create a positive first impression
- Build constructive relationships with agency colleagues
- Display strong attention to detail
- Manage upwards, sideways and down – keeping all parties in the loop and driving action where necessary
- Demonstrate enthusiasm to learn soft skills from senior colleagues
