Senior Sales Coordinator

BACKGROUND

We are looking for a Senior Sales Coordinator to join our Ventilation Systems Team based in Colchester. You will play a vital role in ensuring that the company and departmental aims are achieved. Responsible for liaison with clients to ensure that complicated and coordinated delivery programmes can be met. You will further liaise with the Haverhill factory to assist production forecasting and client prioritisation.

The main purpose of this role is to facilitate the smooth handling of customer orders. You will be required to process large project-related orders and coordinate deliveries to relevant sites with complex delivery requirements. We need someone with strong attention to detail, able to work under pressure to deliver an organised approach – ensuring that records are kept up to date, and someone who can show good leadership skills in order to provide support to the team manager. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Processing day to day and large customer call-off orders – UK Vent
  • Ownership of project order coordination process
  • Support in managing the department
  • Ability to assist with quotes etc…. own the complete customer service process.
  • Liaising with clients to ensure complicated coordinated delivery programmes can be met
  • Liaise with the Haverhill factory and colleagues to assist production forecasting and client prioritisation
  • Ensure that customer inquiries and complaints are dealt with promptly and efficiently
  • To maintain sales department functions and administration
  • Provide inter-department backup and assistance e.g., liaise with area sales managers and the system design team where necessary
  • Answering the telephone and dealing with inquiries
  • To meet KPI’s and objectives as defined in the yearly appraisal review
  • To consider, identify and report any opportunity to improve product or service
  • To work cooperatively with colleagues, exchange information and work together to maximise all sales opportunities, update CRM
  • Whilst on company business act professionally, be positive, constructive, proactive, and actively promote Titon Ventilation at all times
  • To work as a part of a team undertaking necessary duties as and when required in order to achieve team responsibilities
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties requested by management

WHO YOU ARE

  • Knowledge of the ventilation or construction sector would be preferred (D)
  • A minimum of two years in a similar sales order processing or customer service administration background (E)
  • Good leadership skills to provide support to the team manager [E]
  • Proactive and use of initiative continuously to add value (E)
  • Excellent and confident IT Skills, including a good working knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint (E)
  • Ability to work under pressure (E)
  • Strong organisation skills such as record keeping (E)
  • Strong attention to detail and proven skills around accuracy (E)
  • Positive attitude, resilient and diligent (E)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to deal with staff and customers at all levels (E)
