Accounts Assistant

We’re looking for an Accounts Assistant to support our growth in a newly created position. This is an exciting opportunity to join our experienced finance team in a varied role where you will have direct exposure to different aspects of the finance department whilst working alongside the Management Accountant.

The role will involve:

• Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Raising sales invoices and assisting in aged debt recovery
• Processing sales orders and setting up new projects on the accounting system
• Support the Payroll Manager and deputise when required
• Generating payment runs and processing expense claims
• Assisting in posting accruals and prepayments
• Assisting in the weekly cash flow forecast
• Raising purchase orders & liaising with Project Managers

You will have: 

• AAT qualified or holding a relevant degree
• Proficient in Excel
• Part-qualified or desire to work towards ACCA or CIMA
• Previous experience in a finance position
