ABOUT THE ROLE


We are looking for an IT Support Advisor to join Taylor Hopkinson, who can support end users and provide technical expertise to colleagues across our Head office in Glasgow, as well as remotely support Global IT employees with issues and escalating, to best use the company’s IT Function

Day-to-day responsibilities


  • Assist with Handling incoming request from End users. Primarily TH employees, in person, on emails or via telephone. 
  • Analyse, register request for information and incidents. 
  • User creating in AD and Azure AD. Adding and removing access based on request or RoleBaseAccess Matrix
  • Making sure equipment in offices is connected properly and works as may expected. 
  • Supporting with set up of new offices. 
  • Local wiring, patching network outlets.
  • Issuing hardware to employees and collecting returned hardware
  • Making sure enough hardware is on stock, report if new hardware needs to be ordered. 
  • Ensuring user manuals in place, updating them
  • Proactively proposing improvements on process and systems to IT Board /local management
  • Managing escalations, data privacy or security issues within Global IT
  • Monitor and escalate internally if required.
  • Project member of IT projects that have local, region or Global impact.

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Flexibility to problem solve and find solutions 
  • An energetic and positive approach to work, with a passion to foster strong relationships and develop networks
  • A strong communicator who can understand and discuss technical aspects of roles with colleagues and candidates
  • Excellent communication skills verbal and written
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft platform
  • A willingness to share your knowledge and build relationships internally and externally
