Description

We are currently looking for a friendly, helpful and organised person to assist with coordinating the day-to-day operations and customer meetings schedule for our London Showrooms.


You will be an integral part of the team and first point of contact for all deVOL customers. You will be joining a team of highly experienced designers and will need to be able to work efficiently to prioritise workload whilst maintaining excellent written and verbal communications with our customers. The position will involve collaborating with the design team and customers to ensure that expectations are met and are feasible. You will also support the London teams with administrative tasks to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the showrooms.



The role will include, but is not limited to:


  • Coordinating all customer appointments and liaising between the customers and designers. This includes; talking to customers about the deVOL design process and our products, collecting all relevant design information from the customers and preparing design information packs for designers ahead of meetings.
  • Meeting and greeting our customers in the showroom and guiding them through the showroom with knowledge of our products and deVOL design process.
  • Responding to new design and general enquiries via email, over the phone and in the showroom.
  • Preparing estimated costs for potential design customers.
  • Assisting with keeping records of customers enquiries and sales conversions.
  • Managing showroom samples and liaising with the deVOL accessories teams regarding new product samples.
  • Keeping the showroom, office and kitchen well stocked with necessary supplies and ensuring that the showroom is kept tidy and ready for all customer appointments and walk-ins.

Requirements

We would love you to have:


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Have minimum GCSE grades (or equivalent) of A-B in English and Maths.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • An eye for detail and a pride in accuracy.
  • An open, personable, friendly approach and a confidence when meeting customers. Any previous customer facing experience would be looked at favourably.
  • A willingness to be a team player and get involved in all aspects of the showroom and office to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • An ability to confidently use Microsoft Office and Google alternatives.
  • Experience using Autocad or a similar 2D CAD package is a bonus but not essential and training can be provided.
