About us
The College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM) is the UK’s largest, highly-respected and well-known natural-medicine training provider, with colleges in London, Belfast, Birmingham, Brighton, Bristol, Edinburgh, and Manchester.
We are looking for an Web Support who will be responsible for various activities and responsibilities in Moodle administration and IT Support for students and internal staff. You will join our team at our administrative office in East Grinstead, West Sussex, in a full-time capacity.
Some of the duties include:
- Providing technical support to users within agreed timelines
- ·Using Freshdesk ticketing system to record support queries with set SLA’s.
- Participate in IT projects work, working with milestones, deadlines, and targets.
- Problem-solving, researching and assisting to procure new solutions/systems.
Experience and knowledge required:
- Basic Development: HTML, CSS, WordPress, WooCommerce
- Some programming experience is desirable - JavaScript, Python, or any equivalent web programming language.
- Platforms: Learning Management System - Moodle, Workbench (SQL), Visual Studio code
*The ideal candidate will have knowledge or experience with at least some of these.
The Ideal Candidate
You can communicate well with others and can adapt quickly to change. You have a natural interest in solving technical problems and experience managing websites and online platforms. The ideal candidate would have a good understanding of different web technologies and the ability to pick up new ones. You must have a high degree of accuracy, excellent attention to detail, and time management skills. You should have the flexibility to work outside regular office hours to provide student support, as we provide lectures on evenings and weekends, so a quick response is required. We are happy to provide training and coaching throughout your career at CNM as long as you are willing to train, learn new things, and improve your IT knowledge.
