The Opportunity

Lisney is seeking a commercially focused and ambitious Senior Chartered Surveyor to join its Office Agency team in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced surveyor to play a key role in the sale, acquisition and letting of office properties, while contributing to the continued growth and reputation of Lisney’s commercial agency offering.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing agency instructions from initial client engagement through to completion, advising landlords, occupiers, investors and developers on market opportunities, property strategy and transactional matters. The role will involve building strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, preparing high-quality client materials and providing informed market advice.

Key Responsibilities

Agency & Transactional Activity

  • Lead and manage office agency instructions, including the sale, acquisition and letting of commercial office properties.
  • Advise landlords, occupiers, investors and developers on property strategies, market conditions and transactional opportunities.
  • Conduct property inspections, viewings and market appraisals, and respond professionally to client, purchaser and tenant queries.
  • Manage transactions from instruction through to completion, liaising with clients, solicitors, occupiers, purchasers, tenants and other professional advisers.
  • Prepare high-quality reports, proposals, presentations, marketing materials and client recommendations.


Client Management & Business Development

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Identify opportunities for repeat business, new instructions and cross-selling across Lisney’s wider service lines.
  • Support and lead pitches, proposals and client presentations for new business opportunities.
  • Liaise with potential investors, occupiers, landlords and clients, providing clear verbal and written advice.


Team & Departmental Contribution

  • Contribute to office agency targets and support the achievement of departmental objectives.
  • Attend and actively participate in departmental meetings, providing updates on instructions, market activity and client matters.
  • Share market intelligence, comparable evidence and best practice across the team.
  • Support and mentor graduate surveyors and junior team members, contributing to their professional development.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across agency, investment, valuation, property management, and other relevant departments.


Professional Standards & Compliance

  • Ensure all work is carried out to the highest professional standard and in accordance with applicable internal procedures and external regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Dublin and Irish commercial property markets, relevant legislation, market trends and professional standards.
  • Ensure compliance with SCSI, RICS, PSRA and Lisney’s internal governance and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records, property information, transaction data and client communications.
  • Perform additional duties as required, in line with the evolving needs of the role.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Qualified Chartered Surveyor and member of the SCSI and/or RICS
  • Three to five years’ experience in a commercial property environment in Ireland, ideally within office agency, with a strong understanding of the Irish commercial property sector.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, report-writing and client relationship management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong administrative, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of comparable evidence, market data, property records and relevant research sources.
  • Proactive, professional and self-motivated, with a desire to progress their career.
  • Holder of, or eligible to obtain, a relevant PSRA license.
  • Full clean driving license essential.
