SMARTLYNX AIRLINES CREWING OU is looking for Type Rated A320 Captains.


Our group airlines specialize in full-service ACMI aircraft lease services and are acknowledged ACMI, cargo and charter providers in the EU on Airbus A320, A321 A330 and Boeing 737 aircraft. 



From year to year they are growing - in fleet size, block hours, team members, and number of awards.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

  • valid EASA Member State issued ATPL(A) license;
  • valid ME/IR, including PBN qualification;
  • valid EASA Member State issued Class 1 Medical Certificate;
  • minimum ICAO Level 4 of English language proficiency;
  • EU-passport or permit to work in Europe;
  • Clean Criminal Record;
  • Completed Covid-19 vaccine program;
  • available for world-wide operation;
  •  current A320 Type Rating with:

-minimum 3500 total flight time on multi pilot aircraft with a MTOW of 38

metric tons or more

-minimum 500 block hours on A320 as PIC.



ETOPS experience will be considered as advantage.

Yearly income 57450 EUR– 97500 EUR gross

DOCUMENTS TO BE PROVIDED

Please note that, if successful during the selection process, and before being offered a position within Smartlynx you will need to provide the following documents:


  • ·EASA FCL with valid TR
  • Current EASA Medical Class 1
  • FCL Verification letter ​(not older than 12 months)
  • Passport (minimum validity of 6 months)
  • At least two Reference letters not older than last 5 years:
  • If you have been employed by only one company in the last 5 years, 1 reference will be considered enough.
  • Those shall in English language, preferably written by your previous employers or, if not available anymore, by a former or present colleague.
  • All provided reference letters shall specifically state your name, rank and dates of employment and in case of written by a colleague, it needs to be signed and contact details provided. (e-mail address or phone number)


  •  DE CAPTAINS: Proof of successfully completion of commander upgrade course. Will be considered as valid any of the following documents:
  • Reference letter written by the last employer (as a Captain) specifically stating rank and fleet.
  • Training records
  • Any other official document specifically stating rank and fleet.


  • Breakdown of flight hours indicating separately total BLH flown by type and rank;
  • Last 3 pages of Logbook.
  • Criminal Record Certificate (if available): if not available at the moment, please be aware that you will be requested to provide it on the last stage of the recruitment process.·     
  •  Valid EU digital COVID certificate or equivalent (*) (Please check the list of accepted issuing countries at:

Commission Implementing Decisions (EU) on the equivalence of COVID- 19 certificates issued by non-EU countries | European Commission (europa.eu) );


  • Yellow fever vaccination certificate (if available). If you are not vaccinated, please be aware that due the nature of our operations, it might be a mandatory requirement in some countries in which we are operating. So please, if successful after the recruitment process, you may be required to make the necessary arrangements to get your yellow fever certificate as soon as possible.
