The role

As Business Development Manager, you will work closely together with our recruitment teams to achieve the strategic business plan. You will have responsibility for the delivery of your sales plan while continually identifying new market opportunities.


Day-to-day responsibilities


  • Generating pipeline of relevant vacancies as per sales target
  • Developing existing client relationships and accounts to unlock new growth areas within onshore renewable energy
  • Supporting the team in Miami as well as global delivery teams in delivering successfully on vacancies
  • Personally delivering strategic vacancies which will lead to further business development activity
  • Market mapping across industry, government, and associations to identify key influential persons with a view to generating new client relationships and vacancy pipeline
  • Continually identifying market opportunities and sharing information with the wider team
  • Building and maintaining subject matter expert-level knowledge of the onshore renewables market, particularly in North America but also across the wider Americas.
  • Networking throughout industry on a face-to-face basis leading to business opportunities – attending major conferences and events
  • Driving revenue to meet agreed milestones leading to defined hiring needs and team expansion
  • Reporting concise and accurate management information to line management
  • Collaborating with other teams to deliver non-strategic mandates


Requirements

  • Previous experience and proven success in recruitment in a business development or client relationship management role
  • Ability to generate and close deals autonomously
  • Strong stakeholder management experience
  • Process driven, understanding the importance of database utilisation and processes
  • A professional, collaborative and consultative approach with a passion and drive to make a difference
  • An engaging communicator with the ability to build rapport with all teams, build trust with our clients and be a brand ambassador both internally and externally
  • Innovative thinker, problem solver, team player
