Description

We are looking for someone with a real passion for design to join our ever-growing, dynamic team of kitchen designers. deVOL has become synonymous with distinctive style and understated quality; something our designers are taught and become highly skilled in perfecting for every customer. 


Your job will involve:


  • Offering great customer service in the showroom as well as answering and directing telephone enquiries.
  • Interpreting customers' room drawings and requirements to create kitchen layouts using Drafsight and quotes using MS office.
  • Leading design meetings in our showroom or via Zoom, working under pressure to ensure customers leave with plans.
  • Managing your own base of customers from initial inquiry through to an order being placed.
  • Working with our project management team to take a kitchen from design drawings to manufacture and installation.
  • Working with all the deVOL designers to keep the quality of design, service, and product impeccable for every customer.


Requirements

We would love you to:



  • Have a creative qualification and passion for furniture or interiors.
  • 1-2 years of previous design experience.
  • Be excellent at organising and prioritising your time.
  • Have minimum GCSE grades (or equivalent) of A-C in English and Maths.
  • Have experience working in a customer-facing role.
  • Enjoy working with others as part of a team.
  • Have a great eye for detail, a flair for design, and a desire to create exceptional work.
  • Prior experience of using CAD software.


This is a full-time role based at our Tysoe street showroom in London, with the requirement of working up to 1 Saturday a month.
