Earthworks Engineer

As we continue to grow and invest in our people, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Earthworks Engineer to join our Earthworks Team on a permanent, full-time basis.

We're looking for an experienced and motivated Earthworks Engineer to plan, manage and oversee earthworks operations across our sites. Working closely with our operational teams, you'll play a key role in delivering projects safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.

This role is primarily based across the North East, although occasional travel to other sites may be required.

• Plan and manage bulk earthworks operations on site.
• Carry out topographical surveys throughout all stages of projects.
• Operate and support GPS Machine Grade Control systems.
• Produce plans and reports using LSS and AutoCAD software.
• Provide engineering and surveying support across multiple projects.
• Promote and maintain the highest standards of Health & Safety.
• Work collaboratively with site teams and project managers.
• Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of your work.
• Participate in training and continuous professional development.

• Previous experience working as an Earthworks Engineer on bulk earthworks projects.
• A Degree, HNC or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• A valid CSCS Card (essential).
• SMSTS, First Aid at Work and CAT & Genny certifications (desirable).
• Experience using GPS Machine Control, LSS and AutoCAD.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement.
• A full UK driving licence.

Experience:

• Earthworks Engineering: Minimum 3 years' experience (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
• CSCS Card (essential)
