Brief Description:
Imperial Global Singapore (IGS), Imperial College London's formal research and innovation entity in Singapore, is seeking a motivated Marketing Intern to support the communication and marketing of our flagship Cyber security in Healthcare research programme and the wider IGS activities.
The intern will be responsible for developing engaging content for social media platforms and other communication channels. They will provide support for key marketing functions such as updating website content.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative international environment.
Schedule: This post is Part-Time 1-2 days per week, with a flexible schedule
Compensation: $1,200 per month pro rata
Campus Location: CREATE Tower, 1 CREATE Way, Singapore
Duration: 3 - 6 months
Key Responsibilities
- Creating and editing content for websites and intranet
- Developing and scheduling content for our social media platforms
- Help grow our online community and keep up to date with material from our partners, collaborators and funders
- Assist in preparing slides and presentation material for scientific progress updates
- Assist in managing potential events schedule
- Provide coordinator support for events if required
- Updating company and grant specific documents as required
- Other administrative duties required by the IGS Associate Director
Requirements
- Proficiency in LinkedIn, social media and website content management
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree with modules covering Marketing and/or Communications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent command of English with superb writing skills.
- Willingness to work in a small business environment
- Ability to be proactive and adaptable
This post will be supported by the Associate Director at IGS, Singapore and communications officers based in the International Relations and Communications teams at Imperial, London, UK.
The successful candidates will join the research programme which represents a collaboration between the United Kingdom and Singapore and will be based at the newly established Imperial Global Singapore (IGS) housed within the unique CREATE campus.
IN-CYPHER, the inaugural research program of IGS in collaboration with NTU, addresses the growing connectivity of medical devices and their associated data. While these advancements enhance device performance, they also pose security challenges. IN-CYPHER focuses on security, privacy, and trust in healthcare technologies through four themes:
- Protecting Implantable Active Devices
- Securing Connected Wearables and Healthcare Systems
- Algorithms for Security, Privacy, and Provenance
- Clinical Innovation & Translation
