Within the scope of recruitment process activities and in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), approved by European Parliament Council No. 2016/679 of 27th April 2016, COCUS informs that the personal data of all candidates that applies to the jobs published in our career pages or that are contacted to other sources is safe and secure.
We are committed to protecting the privacy of candidates, using an Application Tracking System that ensure that any personal data that may be transmitted to it is properly stored and protected, preventing and blocking any access.
Under the GDPR, “Personal Data” means any “information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person («data subject»); a natural person who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier, such as a name, an identification number, location data, identifiers electronically or to one or more specific elements of the physical, biological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person;”
COCUS may collect and process the following personal data:
• Personally identifiable data
• Data relating to professional activities performed and academic background
• Data relating to remuneration and salary expectations for the future
• Data contained in the Curriculum, motivation letter and presentation videos presented on the application portal
• Extracurricular activities, hobbies and interests
• Family situation.
The responsibility for processing personal data within the scope of recruitment and selection activities, as well as the execution of the employment contracts, regardless of their nature or ownership, will always be of the COMPANY.
However, and whenever justified, the COMPANY may resort to Subcontractors/clients and business partners, being understood, as such, the natural or legal persons who process personal data on their behalf, a fact for which candidates for available vacancies and workers give, from now on, your express consent. The Subcontractors to whom the COMPANY resorts will implement all the appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the personal data transmitted to them, in order to ensure the defense of the rights and interests of the respective holders.
