Duties include:

  • Provide person centered care and support to clients in their home environment.
  • Personal care including washing and dressing.
  • Food preparation and encouragement with fluid and nutrition intake.
  • Support and encourage mobility around the home and hoisting where needed.
  • Support and administration of medicines.
  • Light duties leaving the kitchen clean and tidy after use.
  • Always maintaining confidentiality.
  • Contributing to person centered care plans when required.
  • Meticulous record keeping after every call.
  • Accompanying clients to appointments if required.

Requirements

Qualifications are not required as full training will be given, but a background in care would be highly advantageous. Excellent written and communication skills are required. A full driving license and own transport are desirable; mileage is paid at 25 pence per mile for drivers on top of their hourly rate.


Job offers will be subject to a satisfactory DBS check and two references. One reference should be from your most recent employment or education facility and one character reference will be acceptable.

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

  • Driving Licence (preferred)

  • United Kingdom (preferred)

Shift availability:

  • Day shift (preferred)
  • Night shift (preferred)

Job Types (per week):


Part-time Hours: 16-20 Hours

Full-time Hours: 25- 40 Hours


Working Schedule:


Morning and Lunch Shift: 0645 – 1500

Tea and Bed Shift: 1500 – 2200

Full Day: 0645 - 2200


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability


Salary: £11.44 per hour

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus scheme
  • Loyalty bonus
