Role summary

You will be part of a delivery team that is made of caring, passionate, experienced Project Managers who are always willing to help others learn and develop their skills. Working across events, organiser, digital content and exhibit projects is all part of the role/s and time is dedicated to learning all facets of the industry.

 

A willingness to ask questions, to learn and to ‘get stuck in’ is imperative and, in return, you would receive a personal/tailored plan to help you get to where you want to go … there is no limit!!

 

The role/s would be based in our Ware HQ and offers UK and international travel to those bringing the right attitude. If this sounds of interest, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Project support

  • Support on client projects to grow technical knowledge in order to enhance the ability to liaise with clients , venues and suppliers
  • Provide trusted support Project Managers when planning, coordinating and delivering client or internal Projects in line with our documented Proven Process inclusive of all Company policies
  • To owe any assigned task, ensure understanding and ask for further guidance if needed
  • Ensure a deadline is agreed for any assigned task
  • To continually update Project Managers on the status of assigned tasks, where necessary being pro-active in providing clear options and solutions.
  • Ensure the high quality of any client facing documentation
  • Ensure the use of ‘On Brand’ company templates, filing and version control
  • Ensure client facing document is proofed to an appropriate level
  • To attend Creative briefings where possible
  • Ensure any client request as a minimum is registered within 24 hours
  • To escalate any emerging client issues or project issues to the Project Manager.
  • To deliver client projects onsite and undertake any other travel where necessary.
  • Support in the closure of live projects as directed by the Project Manager
  • To be available to action and support on any additional tasks at short notice and as required by the Head of Project Delivery.
  •  As confidence builds to discuss taking on more responsibilities with the Head of Project Delivery

 

Client contact

  • Help maintain professional meeting standards inclusive of Agenda’s and Meeting report
  • To attend Client meetings, take notes and contribute where asked

 

Finance

  • Budget awareness and input, show an ability to develop and progress knowledge of the financial management process.
  • Progression of negotiation skills and management of budget updates.
  • Ensuring pre authorisation from Project Manager for all expenditure relating to a project
  • Support in the closure of any project

 

Department relations

  • Ensure consideration of other departmental needs

 

Proposal & Pitch

  • Support new business bids if requested as a member of the pitch team
  • Participate in proposal planning and creation as appropriate

 

Self-Development

  • To take an active role in your learning and development at all times to ensure your needs are met
  • Attend supplier presentations to enhance product knowledge
  • Attend training courses, as appropriate, to either learn new or enhance existing skills.
  • Understand the companies full service global offering.
  • To demonstrate a questioning nature at all times.
  • To ensure you understand where any training sits in our process
