Job mission

Share best practices and optimize Application database infrastructure with all possible performance and security recommendations


We run everything-as-a-code with Terraform, Ansible on AWS. We use ELK, Prometheus, and Grafana for logging and monitoring. We run most of our workloads in k8s and deploy them using Helm charts. We do Continuous Integration with CircleCI and Github Actions. We use Slack for collaboration and ChatOps. ScrumBan is for managing our work.


  • Provide technical expertise and support in the use of databases in the cloud (AWS RDS preferred)
  • Evaluate and recommend available DBMS products to support validated user requirements
  • Develop guidelines on database design, performance tuning, monitoring, file organization, indexing methods, security, backup, recovery, and maintenance procedures.
  • Develop automation templates for the abovementioned guidelines according to best practices such as DevOps and GitOps principles. 


  • Exposure to administering on-prem/cloud-based multiuser environments with expertise in planning, designing, building, and implementing database systems
  • Good knowledge of the SQL database (Postgres preferred) architecture
  • Experience with high load systems is a plus
  • Experience with cloud-native tools stack is a plus
  • AWS experience preferred, but any other cloud experience should work fine as well
  • Bash/Python scripting experience is a plus
  • Willingness to learn and share your knowledge
