Hours of work: 40 hours p/w (Mon - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm)


Salary: £41,600.00 per annum


Purpose of the role

To contribute to the overall success of the HR agenda in delivering a proactive and customer focused HR service across Clearsprings Group by providing effective support, guidance, and advice to managers and staff members on a wide variety of HR matters, such as employee relations, policy and process, and the delivery of key projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

Procedures

  • Advise and coach managers on the application and interpretation of HR policies and procedures in accordance with current and proposed employment legislation to ensure consistency, accuracy, and best practice
  • Support the HR Business Partner in providing high quality HR advice and guidance directly to managers to facilitate the early resolution of difficult, complex, or sensitive employee relations issues, ensuring that the risks associated with such cases are effectively managed
  • Support the management of complex employee cases relating to disciplinary, grievance and sickness absence. This includes providing advice to managers on policy/procedure and legislation, liaising with Occupational Health, supporting formal investigations and hearings
  • Act as notetaker for the HR Business Partner where required
  • Support the wider HR Team in implementing and embedding new strategies and
  • initiatives across the organisation
  • Build good working relationships with all line managers to better understand their needs and provide appropriate HR related support
  • Manage sickness absence in collaboration with managers, managing redeployment where appropriate, assisting staff back to work and working with managers to reduce sickness absence across the organisation.
  • Provide updates on key changes to policies/ processes/ new initiatives and any trends identified in ER reporting
  • Actively contribute to the development and implementation of new policies, procedures and practices and review in line with legislation, current best practice, and Clearsprings Group’s requirements
  • Support in designing rewards and incentives schemes, including bonuses and pay rises
  • Coordinate and promote staff benefit schemes
  • Using HR information systems to access, input, and compile data
  • Complete monthly audits of the HR information system to ensure compliance
  • Apply confidentiality and accuracy to all areas of work

  • Work closely with your line manager and team members
  • Collaborate with others, attending meetings as required
  • Supporting team members, providing on-the-job training, coaching and conducting 121s
  • Provide cover for other staff as agreed by line manager

  • Ensure all records are maintained and kept up-to-date according to company policies and procedures
