Job Title: Foreman

Salary: £165 per shift
At Route One Infrastructure, we carry out maintenance and repairs to bridges and other highway structures which include installing bridge expansion joints, bridge deck waterproofing, bridge bearings and concrete repairs.
We are looking for applicants to join our Maintenance team who are responsible for undertaking a range of tasks including cleaning / jet washing, graffiti removal, de-vegetating, clearing drainage areas, removing debris, sealing cracks or joints etc…
As a Foreman you will lead your own crew and so previous experience in Highways / Civils or similar industries is essential. This is covering work nationally and you will be required to work away.
The work involves working as part of a team of between 2 and 4 persons and due to the nature of working on roads, involves working both day and night shift patterns (Mon-Fri) across the UK. We pay a standard shift rate per week plus a bonus is paid once per month subject to successful completion of probation period and certain quality, behaviour and quality targets being met by both the individual and company. Overtime for weekends is regularly available subject to stand-down where required.
The work may involve the use of machinery, specialist plant and equipment and working with hazardous/hot materials.
