About the Role
The Yorkshire County Cricket Club Limited (the Club) is delighted to open applications for an Independent Non-Executive Director to join its Board of Directors.
This is a pivotal and compelling time to become part of the leadership of one of the world’s most famous and successful cricket clubs, and home of the premier international cricket venue, Headingley Cricket Ground.
As a Non-Executive Director, you will play a key role in shaping the Club’s strategic direction and ensuring the highest standards of governance and integrity are upheld.
Role Title: Independent Non-Executive Director
Reports to: Chair
Remuneration: Expenses only
Term: Three years
Commitment: Approximately 2 days a month, comprised of Board meetings, sub-committee meetings and hosting at home matches
Location: Headingley Cricket Club
There is a preference for Board meetings to be held in person where possible. Sub-committee meetings are typically a hybrid of in-person and virtual attendance
