As a Service Management Consultant, you will work closely with business stakeholders to design and implement effective service management solutions aligned with clients’ Target Operating Models (TOM). You’ll play a key role in shaping shared service strategies and supporting service transformation by applying your expertise in business analysis and service delivery.

Description of role:

  • Support the design and implementation of service management frameworks aligned to business objectives and TOM
  • Conduct current state assessments and work across functional teams to identify gaps and recommend improvements in service delivery processes
  • Define future state service delivery models
  • Develop and document service management processes, workflows, and governance models
  • Act as a key interface between business stakeholders and delivery teams
  • Lead workshops and working sessions with client teams to capture requirements and translate into actionable outputs
  • Support the development and delivery of shared service centre operating models
  • Suggest KPIs and metrics for service performance
  • Embed the appropriate roles, governance, process and disciplines for continuous improvement  

We're looking for people who have

  • Strong experience in service management within a shared service or business services environment
  • Experience of business analysis working on service management transformation / improvement projects
  • Experience designing or implementing Target Operating Models (TOM)
  • Ability to document and improve service delivery processes
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, up to senior management level
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on functional (not technical) solutions
  • Consultancy experience or the ability to thrive in a client-facing, fast-paced environment
