We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and driven sales leader to join our team as Regional Sales Manager. This role is crucial in driving the performance and operations of our sales teams across multiple areas in the Western Cape, whilst implementing regional revenue-generating strategies, leading the area managers and ensuring efficient management to grow our customer base and social impact. About the role

The Regional Manager is responsible for achieving revenue targets by leading a team of multiple Area Managers and their respective Area Leads and sales representatives. This middle management position emphasises strategic execution, performance management, and operational excellence within a defined region. The Regional Manager plays a crucial role in driving TooMuchWifi’s sales and marketing strategies, enhancing brand awareness, and ensuring customer satisfaction across the region.

What you will be doing

  • Sales Growth: 
  • Drive revenue growth and profitability by driving sales in existing and surrounding communities. 
  • Drive revenue growth and profitability by identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities within our growth hotspots. 
  • Drive revenue growth and profitability for new products for new and existing communities. 
  • Data driven decision processing: 
  • Utilizing both quantitative and qualitative to drive growth, revenue, and profitability.
  • Analyzing regional sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement, implementing data-driven strategies to optimize performance.
  • Developing actionable insights from performance metrics to guide decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Monitoring and assessing key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
  • Implementing data-driven solutions to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Leveraging customer feedback and market research to refine sales approaches and marketing initiatives.
  • Regularly reviewing and adjusting sales tactics based on data analysis to improve conversion rates and customer retention.
  • Strategic Execution: 
  • Have a deep bias for action and delivery in order to deliver on strategic growth plans at both regional, and product level.. 
  • Develop and implement regional sales strategies and plans that are aligned with our growth objectives.
  • Team Management: 
  • Lead and support Area Managers and Area Leads, ensuring their teams are motivated, productive, and exceeding performance targets utilizing training, coaching, data and in field support to drive performance and decision making. 
  • Coaching and counselling Area Managers and Area Leads, to be exceptional leaders in order to drive personal development and revenue growth. 
  • Actively work in the field with the Area Managers and Area Leads to identify areas for improvement to drive scale. 
  • Customer Engagement: 
  • Attend activations, sales campaigns and door to door  in the field together with our activations, sales Hotspot and branding teams to ensure that you are visible whilst providing ongoing in market support to your teams. 
  • Attend community events, social impact drives and other activities for Toomuchwifi. 
  • Ensure alignment and engagement with our Marketing, Brand Activation Hotspot and B2B sales teams to oversee community engagement initiatives to foster strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Operational Excellence: 
  • Ensure all operational processes are efficient and align with the company's standards.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement within operational processes which can be automated and digitized. 
  • Training and Development: 
  • Facilitate training programs for Area Managers, Area Leads and their teams to enhance skills and performance.
  • Communication: 
  • Serve as a key point of contact between the Head Office, Manco, the Area Managers and the sales teams, ensuring clear and effective communication of goals and expectations.
  • Brand Representation: 
  • Uphold and promote TooMuchWifi’s brand values and standards in all regional activities.
  • Problem-Solving: 
  • Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise within the region, ensuring a positive impact on sales and customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

  • 5 years regional manager sales experience within the communities in which Toomuchwifi serve. 
  • Sales and / or leadership diploma through a reputable tertiary institution.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience: Proven experience in a middle management leadership role within sales management, business development, or a related field, specifically in aspirational communities in South Africa. 
  • Leadership: Strong team leadership and supervisory skills, with a track record of managing multiple teams.
  • Sales Acumen: In-depth understanding of sales strategies and performance metrics.
  • Customer Focus: Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and reporting skills to monitor performance and identify trends.
  • Operational Knowledge: Good understanding of marketing and operational processes.
  • Transport: Own reliable transport and a valid driver’s license.
  • Community Engagement: Experience in community engagement and a commitment to fostering strong relationships within represented communities.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficient in using computer applications for reporting and communication.
