In a nutshell

You will own and manage the merchant and partner landscape for global markets in Europe/APAC. You will be responsible for executing and improving the best practices in regional partner sourcing., with the objective of acquiring e-commerce-affine partners for our various reward programs including but not limited to affiliate partners, advertisers, and well-known brands that drives customer engagement.

As the ideal candidate for this role, you will bring the passion for negotiating and developing relationships with key brands, merchants and incentive houses across multiple product categories and a proven track record of growing business relations.

What you will do

  • You will define the sourcing strategy and pipeline for your region, create hunting lists and support acquisition of established and up-and-coming partners while securing a great partnership with existing stakeholders.
  • You will actively grow our partner base, be responsible for driving advertising revenues for the region.
  • You will source new brands/merchants with wide ranges of physical products and other new digital content suitable for the catalog.
  • You will develop and broaden collaborative relationships to close large and exclusive deals for the region.
  • Review sales & margin performance vs targets and formulate action plans.
  • Develop a regional expertise on sales, catalog, pricing and merchant landscape to manage your business through research and analysis of the local marketplaces.
  • Keep up with the upcoming deals and campaigns for your region to integrate them into the catalog through strategic partnerships.
  • Drive promotions in the catalog from time-to-time to drive conversions and sales.

What you will need

  • Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of relevant experience in Sourcing/Buying/Marketplace operations + selling advertisement solutions to partners.
  • Wide category experience especially Digital Products, Electronics, Home & Garden, Luggage, Sports, Fashion Accessories etc.
  • Excellent negotiation skills, you have an entrepreneur mindset and hands-on mentality.
  • Experience in identifying, developing, and closing commercial deals with merchants.
  • Experience in working with brands, distributors, and incentive houses.
  • Experience in maintaining strategic relationships with partners and generating opportunities.
  • Experience in stakeholder management to influence and work with cross-functional and cross-regional teams.
  • Strong grip on marketplace operations and processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills to multi-task and deliver multiple projects simultaneously.
