Senior Project Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join our growing team at ITI. The role will be hybrid, however regular travel will be required to our Sheffield and Warrington offices.

The role will include establishing, leading, and managing the planning, control and contract administration of large and complex projects, programmes, and frameworks. With accountability for the project performance incorporating health and safety, delivery to time and budget and customer satisfaction.

The role will involve:

• Competently and efficiently planning & controlling complex automation projects.
• Establishing, leading and managing the planning, control and contract administration of large and complex projects, programmes and frameworks.
• Accountability for the project performance including, health and safety, delivery to time and budget and customer satisfaction.
• Providing vision and leadership to the project team, motivating them to deliver the project requirements.
• Applying business objectives and procedures to projects.
• Maintaining safe working practices.
• Knowing, adhering to, and applying, contract/legislative conditions.
• Building and maintaining excellent customer relationships and supporting business development activities with those customers.
• Identifying selling opportunities within and outside any project and ensuring they are followed up.
• Promoting and applying company policy, procedures, and decisions, especially within project teams.
• Establishing appropriate agreements with suppliers/sub-contractors where this brings a business advantage.
• Promoting and ensuring conformity and consistency in the application of the company management process within projects.
• Reporting monthly progress to the Major Projects Steering Committee

You will have:

• Experience delivering multi-million-pound engineering projects
• Deep knowledge of Project Planning Tools - e.g. MS Project, Prima Vera
• Good knowledge of IT/OT Solution delivery and of related governance issues
• Excellent knowledge of NEC 3/4 and experience delivering option A or C Contracts.
• Experience leading multi discipline teams of engineers
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of Quality Management System procedures - able to support Quality Audits for projects
• Electrical & Electronic or Electrical or Software Engineering degree (min 2:1) or similar qualification.
• Undertaken a structured project delivery lifecycle as a Level 5 Project Mgr
• Must have achieved Professional Accreditation with recognised organisation (IET/BCS) or provide suitable evidence of alternative CPD
• Formal Project Management Qualifications – PRINCE2, GAMP, APMP
• Deep understanding of Nuclear or Power industries, with well-established network within said industry
• Extensive experience with software development and configuration tools, methods and processes
