This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Social Media Executive to join a leading Animal Feed manufacturing business on a fixed term contract to cover a 12-month maternity leave.
You will work 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday.

Main Purpose
We are looking for a skilled, creative, and driven social media executive to build and execute social media strategy through competitive and audience research, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification. The successful candidate will be on a temporary contract to cover a 12-month maternity leave.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Plan, implement and monitor the company's Social Media strategy in order to increase brand awareness, improve Marketing efforts and increase sales
- Execute campaigns (organic and paid) from start to finish, including planning, strategy, coordination, content creation, execution, post event reporting and analysis
- Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms working with internal stakeholders.
- Optimise company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of the company’s social content
- Define most important social media KPIs
- Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
- Generate, publish and share daily content to build meaningful connections
- Moderate all user-generated content for each community
- Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules
- Continuously improve by capturing and analysing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
- Collaborate with other departments to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions
- Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
- Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
Personal Specification
Essential:
- Proven working experience in social media marketing and/or digital media
- Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices
- Excellent consulting, writing, presentation, and communication skills
- Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
- Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research
- Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO and SEO
- Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
- Positive attitude, detail and customer orientated with good multitasking and organisational ability
- BSc degree in Marketing or relevant field
- Fluency in English
Preferred:
- Editing (photo/video/text) skills
- Farming and Agricultural knowledge
- Full UK driving license
