In this role you will form part of the team working in our projects across Weymouth, Dorchester, Ferndown & Yeovil. We provide our young residents with a space to grown with confidence, enhance their self-esteem and develop the life skills require to live independently.
A Senior Support Worker will oversee and coordinate the day to day running of projects. The role will be responsible for ensuring all current and newly referred residents receive high-quality, person-centred support promoting independence and emotional health and wellbeing.
In order to ensure the Senior Support Worker has the opportunity to establish and maintain direct contact and involvement with those we support, a main part of the role will be direct support with residents following the Steps To Independence support planning process.
A Senior Support Worker will ensure consistency in service and provide a homely environment for young people aged between 16 – 21 years old to live in, however it is imperative that all staff are involved at all levels encouraging a strong team mindset. Senior Support Workers have to be diverse and flexible in their roles, they will be expected to be involved in all levels of support across the service.
