Group Compliance Specialist

We are looking for an ambitious and curious person who has experience in Compliance and wants to join our motivated and all-around awesome team to help us shape the future of finance. Here’s what we expect from you:

  • Master’s degree (a degree in law would be an advantage);
  • Experience in AML and Sanctions area;
  • Very good understanding of AML and Sanctions risks;
  • Sufficient awareness of Baltic and European regulatory requirements related to banking and financial services in general;
  • Commitment to keeping himself/herself pro-actively updated on upcoming regulatory changes in the assigned areas;
  • High ethical standards, a strong sense of responsibility, and commitment to results;
  • Self-motivation with the ability to work independently, follow deadlines, and effectively manage time;
  • Full working proficiency in English (written and verbal);

Here are some of the tasks and challenges you will tackle:

  • Responsible for checking operating countries' compliance against internal rules, local legislation (e.g. AML laws, GDPR, credit issuing, etc.), and requirements of the regulator;
  • Ensures group entities' compliance with legislation and internal rules in general;
  • Arranges activity inspection of all group entities' ́activities;
  • Conducts recurring inspections of the operating activities of the group entities;
  • Acts as a contact person with supervising authorities (FSA, AML) and inspects group entities' compliance with AML processes;
  • Conducts investigations of the determining violations and deficiencies identified;
  • Advises the management board and employees on the legal framework of the group ś activities;
  • Provides assistance and communicates with the Financial Supervision Authority and other supervisory authorities of the local operating regions;
  • Assists and communicates with auditors, including the internal auditor;
  • Submits to the management board periodic reports on its activities, the state and operation of the internal control system, and the irregularities and deficiencies identified;
  • Participates in the preparation and supplementation of the internal rules and other internal documentation of the group entities;
  • Is responsible for and organizes the maintenance of all documentation concerning the regulatory side of credit services including reports, inquiries, and precepts of the FSA and other supervisory authorities;
  • Conducts training for the Management Board and employees on compliance with the legislation and internal documentation of the group entities.
