Reusing is the future. Ovoko is working to accelerate the transition to reusing by creating the perfect digital journey for parts so that they can be quickly and easily united with happy customers or recycled.


Every day, our teams play a key role in developing historic-first technologies, marketplaces, and shipping, and analytics solutions. These will combine to create the first digital circular economy for used parts. 


We are in search of a key member of our team: a visionary CTO to help lead Ovoko in the next phase of international growth. This position reports directly to the Co-Founders and CEO.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a thought leader and strategy driver for the company as a member of the Leadership Team
  • Work with business and development teams to understand and influence product vision and requirements
  • Understand how all elements of the software lifecycle work together and develop quality engineering approaches that fit the overall architecture
  • Design test strategies and create appropriate test harnesses, data, and tools that increase the speed of sprint cycles and allow for constant high quality results
  • Build and manage a team of software engineers and quality analysts
  • Develop the long-term strategy for your programs and translate that into an achievable road map/action plan
  • Management and execution against project plans and delivery commitments
  • Work closely with the engineers to architect and develop the best technical design and approach


Requirements

  • Experienced as a Chief Technology Officer or in another similar leadership role
  • Comprehension of budgets
  • Strong business planner
  • Highly organized leader
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Ability to conduct research and analyses of technology
  • Knowledge of technology trends
  • Ability to use current technological trends to build business strategy
  • Analytical
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • Excellent in English (speaking and writing)
