The Engineering Manager role is needed to support Engineering growth and maturity as an organization. With the engineering team expanding there is a lack of experienced leaders that can ensure high performance and appropriate level of managerial practices. 


Enhance our engineering culture and drive the rapid growth of Eskimi's Engineering team.

What You'll do

  • Collaborate with Leadership: Partner closely with the Head of Engineering to achieve alignment and engineering excellence.
  • Team Building: Recruit, hire, and onboard top engineering talent to form a high-performing team.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and lead engineering teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with the Product team to ensure product development meets customer needs and business objectives.
  • Quality and Timely Delivery: Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of engineering projects and initiatives.
  • Technical Roadmap Implementation: Develop and implement the technical roadmap in line with business goals.
  • Talent Development: Develop and retain engineering talent.
  • Objective Management: Manage the team by setting challenging objectives.

What will help You do it

  • Engineering Leadership Experience: Proven experience in engineering leadership roles with a strong track record in managing and mentoring engineering teams.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong technical background in software engineering with proficiency in Scala, PHP, Java, JavaScript or another programming language. Experience with high-performance distributed/big data systems is a plus.
  • High Standards: Commitment to raising the bar in engineering practices and team performance.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

The salary range for this position: 6000-8000 Eur/month gross.
