Following on from some fantastic new client wins, we have an incredibly exciting opportunity within our marketing team for a Junior Digital Designer. You’ll get stuck into working on some exciting projects for an enviable list of big-name brands including RAC, Sainsbury’s Bank and Virgin Money.

As a Junior Digital Designer, you will report into the Senior Marketing Manager and join the wider marketing team. We work as an extension of our brand partners’ Marketing teams to deliver fully branded marketing and seamless customer journeys. The team works together to create market-leading customer journeys to drive conversion and increase customer satisfaction. The role will work closely with our Lead UX Designer to design a range of digital solutions, including wireframes, websites, email campaigns and web-based documents.



What will I do in the role? 

  • Create engaging, visual, and interactive user experiences
  • Work alongside our brand partners to ensure designs are consistent with design & brand guidelines
  • Support the marketing team in delivery of day-to-day tasks
  • Get involved in our conversion rate optimisation strategy where you will be trained to run a variety of A/B and web personalisation tests to boost user engagement across our web platforms
  • Work with business analysts to ensure user experience designs are understood to enable requirements and solutions to meet the design
  • Work with developers on efficient workflow practices for designing, prototyping, and validating assets for product build
  • Design and build acquisition/client responsive email creatives to best practice standards
  • Create ready-to-build pixel-perfect UI designs
  • Design a wide range of projects across multiple digital platforms
  • Support our brand partners with updates to our web platforms


What do I need?


  • Good experience as a digital designer
  • Good experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator and Photoshop)
  • HTML and CSS knowledge
  • Understanding of user-centred design methodology and UI & UX design experience across mobile and web
  • Ability to communicate ideas in a clear and effective manner
  • Excellent organisation and a keen eye for detail
  • A desire to be part of a strong marketing team and become a key team player
  • Able to work to deadlines
