The Front Office Receptionists serve as an information source for the Hotel, beginning with the guest check-in and continuing during their stay with the handling of questions and requests and concluding with the checkout. The Front Office also provides other departments with guest information and handles both over the desk and telephone inquiries regarding the Hotel and its services.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS
An Associate degree or BA in Tourism and Hotel Management or equivalent
2 years’ related experience in hotel or service industry
Good computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
Knowledge of accounting and Opera property management system
Excellent interpersonal, telephone and communication skills
Good knowledge of Barbados and places of interest
