Operations Co-ordinator Job Description
We are looking to add an enthusiastic team member to our dynamic team who will assist our Operations Department in dealing with freight traffic. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to join a market leading freight forwarder in the fast-paced world of international logistics.
The following duties are just some of the ones required of the role:
- To manage the movement of freight to requested final destination within required timescales and to customers’ specifications
- To provide effective communication by liaising with suppliers and customers throughout the transport process
- To provide effective management of the transport process resolving any and all issues that arise
- To provide a consistent and positive customer service experience and develop strong customer relationships
- Liaise with customers, Banks & Lloyd overseas agents, shipping lines and hauliers to provide a customer centred service
- Develop strong customer relationships by providing consistently excellent customer service
