We are a fast growing, reputable and innovative company with a successful hybrid working style in this digital age. Hood Group is a dynamic, forward thinking customer management business that provides outsourced customer services for well-known UK trusted brands.
As a junior developer you will be key in helping the department and business in launching an ever-increasing new business book of opportunities for new brands and partners as well as supporting our existing products on the system,
With training and support you will be required to learn and take ownership of designated build tasks throughout the lifecycle of projects in line with the agreed program of work. This will range from initial analysis, review of requirements and planning the build to configuring, unit testing and releasing through project stage gates to delivering products and changes to the live platform. You will then support the warranty (initial support of products after go live) phase of projects and be on hand to deal with any bugs raised.
There will also be a small change workstream where you will be required to deal with independent change requests outside of projects but following the same development lifecycle.
You will be responsible for creating release documents and adhoc documentation to support builds and changes adding to our knowledgebase.
This is a demanding role that requires good analytical, and problem-solving skills. You will also need excellent communication skills and be self driven.
