Purpose of Job

• To develop and implement systems and processes for the hire of containers and modular and site accommodation (anti vandal units).
• To grow and promote the Cleveland Hire and Cleveland Modular product offering.
• To provide a high level of customer service to all customers and colleagues, reinforcing the ‘Cleveland Can’ attitude and problem-solving mindset.

• Within this fast-paced role of Hire Controller, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the Hire activities to ensure customer requirements are met and sales revenue is optimised.
• You will be responsible for coordinating on-hires/off-hires and working with existing functions to ensure ease of administration and invoicing.
• You will work with existing teams to monitor stock levels and ensure customer lead times can be met and delivered.
• You will manage and improve the hire process from start to finish, ensuring high levels of customer service.
• You will use logic to arrive at decisions or solutions to problems that achieve the desired outcome and to attend review meetings and ensure action points are responded to in a timely manner.
• To adopt a positive attitude to your work which reflects Cleveland Containers’ values and take pride in your work, completing it to the highest standard.

Key Results Areas/Objectives

• To ensure that the hire function for site accommodation and modular units runs smoothly with clear and structured processes.
• To process all orders in a timely and organised fashion, making sure that colleagues are informed of updates to orders.
• To give the best level of customer service to all customers and colleagues, resolving queries and going above and beyond for the customer.
• To achieve set sales targets within required timescales with a focus on continually improving your performance and identifying opportunities for self-development and company growth.
• To build and maintain excellent customer relationships, expanding our reach to regional and national accounts to achieve hire revenue objectives.
